Worship

As a community of Christians we are called to come together and worship our God. Worship is central to the Christian life. In worship we come face to face with God, experiencing God's holiness, and are norished through the Holy Spirit. Through the preaching of scripture and celebration of the sacraments, we rededicate ourselves weekly to the service of God and our neighbors. Join us Sunday's at 9:00 am!

Learning

We are committed to on-going growth in our Christian faith. We believe growth best happens together, learning from one another and sharing our experiences. We regularly offer Bible studies and evenings of conversation on current topics in our culture. No matter what level of student you are, you are welcome to attend and grow with us in faith.

Going

The Great Commission of Matthew 28 tells us that we must be going into all the world, making disciples of persons in all nations. We are committed to God's mission in this world. We send a team every year to La Flor, Nicaragua to deepen relationships, build houses, install green stoves, support women's and children's health initiatives, and support education. Through out the year, 20 Women of Hope, a group dedicated to support college eduation of locals, continues to support our ongoing mission work and strengthens the relationship between Philo and La Flor.

Join us to learn more about Nicaragua or the other mission work we are committed to.

Fellowship

Fellowship means the joy of being together to celebrate the great joys of life, to weather the great storms, and to encourage one another. Wether it is through a much loved church potluck, carving pumpkins, baking bread for communion, or decorating for Christmas, we enjoy being together and invite you to join us. Stay after worship for refreshments each Sunday!

Important Announcement!

Philo Presbyterian Church is taking bold steps to re-imagine youth ministry and education in the Christian faith. Ignite, youth ministry and education for kids in K-8, seeks to make lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ through bible study, worship, service and fellowship, growing each kid in their faith and equipping them to life out their faith in our community. Most of all, we will have fun growing together and building relationships that support one another, making us a beacon of light for Unity and the surrounding communities.
